The KEITH WALKING FLOOR® system is made of a series of floor slats, which are powered by a hydraulic drive, usually located underneath. As the floor moves through its first three phases, every third slat restages together. The friction of the load on the remaining two sets of slats keeps the load from moving. During the fourth and final phase, all slats move in unison, conveying the material.
